Western Today is a service of the Office of University Communications at Western Washington University. It is intended to be the primary source of information and news about WWU. Members of our office report and write about the people, programs, research and advances at WWU. This information is published daily on Western Today and is available to readers around the world as well as to members of the media.

In Internet Explorer, click on the "down" arrow just to the right of the "house" icon in your Internet Explorer toolbar and choose "Add or Change Home Page." Then click on "Use this webpage as your only home page" or "Add this webpage to your home page tabs," depending on your preference.

In other browsers, just drag the icon to the left of the URL in your location bar onto the "Home" icon in the "house" icon in your toolbar. Some browsers do this differently. You can always set your home page through the preferences of your browser.

About The Office of University Communications

The Office of University Communications serves as the world's portal for news and information about Western Washington University and provides message management services to WWU and its various subdivisions. This office coordinates the release of major news events at WWU and articulates the university's critical contributions to society. It also manages all crisis communications activities for the university. External communications services include media relations, consulting and publicity guidance.
