At its regular meeting March 8, the Western Washington University Faculty Senate unanimously passed a resolution encouraging faculty members to remember Earth Week in their classes.
The resolution was brought forward by Robert Marshall and former Faculty Senate President James Loucky.

President Larner presented a first draft charge to a potential graduate advisory committee, which will be debated in the senate next quarter.

Larner reported that the Academic Coordinating Commission passed a motion to create an ad-hoc committee on academic policy to work with the WWU registrar to clarify catalog language for students.
