Women's basketball: Schramm leads Vikings in victory

Kristin Schramm scored a game-high 22 points, including nine in a crucial second-half run as Western Washington University defeated Western Oregon University, 68-59, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball contest Thursday, Feb. 2, at Sam Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus.
The Vikings improved to 14-5 overall and remained second in the GNAC at 8-3. Guard Trishi Williams had 12 points on 4-of-4 field-goal shooting for WWU, and center Britt Harris added 11 points and seven rebounds.
