All Western Washington University faculty and staff are invited to attend an information session about the Compass 2 Campus program and to learn how the campus community can participate.

The info session will take place from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, in Science Lecture Room 120.

Compass 2 Campus is a program at Western Washington University designed to increase access to higher education by providing an opportunity for fifth grade students from traditionally underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds in Whatcom and Skagit counties to be mentored by university students.

A group of fifth graders will be visiting the WWU campus on Oct. 26. For more information, visit or call (360) 650-4565.
